Soothing Bath Soak

Sometimes we need to take a moment and relax.  Soaking in a tub with salts and essential oils is wellness treatment at home.

Self-care is important so we can continue to do our daily tasks and make a difference in the world.

What you’ll need:

  • Quart mason jar
  • 1 cup Baking soda
  • 1 cup Epsom salt
  • 1/2 cup solar salt or sea salt
  • 15 drops of a Young Living essential oil (Lavender, StressAway, Cedarwood and Peace and Calming are great options)

Directions:

  1. Add half of the dry ingredients to the mason jar.
  2. Add half of the drops of essential oils.
  3. Secure lid and shake to combine.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients, cap and shake again.
  5. Add a half or a full cup of the mixture to your bath.
  6. Relax and enjoy.

Depending on how strong you like your scent you can decrease or increase to your preferred preference.

Be careful not to add a hot oil like oregano, cinnamon bark, Christmas spirit or others to your bathwater. Please read the labels.

Baking soda in the bath may help with detoxification, Alkalize the body, and help with inflamed skin

Epsom salt in the bath helps to relax sore muscles. You can benefit from the magnesium and sulfur which support muscles, skin, and bones.

Solar salt or sea salt contains high mineral contents that are effective to help the process of detoxification.

Essential oils help to relax and support your body systems.
