Kohlrabi Greens

What you’ll need:

  • Kohlrabi greens
  • Medium Sweet onion
  • Bacon grease
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Bacon
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Cut off the greens of your Kohlrabi and rinse them. After they are rinsed, stack all the leaves together and chop off the stems. Set leaves aside.
  2. Chop up your medium sweet onion, and put it into a skillet with the stems.
  3. When onions are almost translucent (or soft) toss in your garlic and continue to sauté.
  4. Take the leaves you set aside and cut them up into short, thin strips. Toss into the pan to sauté.
  5. Cut up bacon into small bits and put into the pan.
  6. Once bacon is mostly done, sprinkle some parmesan cheese on the whole dish. Once melted, serve.
