What you will need:
- 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 to 8)
- 1/2 cup organic cane sugar or Rapadura
- 1/2 cup whey
- 7 cups of filtered water
- Half gallon glass container
- Add all ingredients to the glass container
- Shake well to dissolve the sugar
- Leave the capped container on the counter for 2 to 3 days
- Move the container to the refrigerator
- Serve cold or over ice.
This beverage was a hit with both adults and children at the Summer Beverage class.
